About project

The TATRANSKÝ TATÉR project was created with the aim of spreading tattoo art among the general public, primarily by organizing tattoo exhibitions and competitions. A secondary goal is to conduct theoretical and practical activities focused on the presentation and popularization of tattoo art.

In short, we want to show people how far tattoo art has come and erase the outdated notion that tattoos are just a mark of a certain group of people. For many years, tattoos were seen as mere black stains on the skin that would later become a burden, with wearers eventually regretting them. However, times have changed, and as the number of tattooed individuals grows, so does the number of inexperienced beginner tattoo artists.

We want to educate the public on what a quality tattoo should look like, how to properly choose a tattoo artist or studio, why it's better to choose a professional tattoo artist over an amateur working from home, how to pick a timeless design, and more...

The founder and main sponsor of the TATRANSKÝ TATÉR project is the LA CASTA tattoo studio in Poprad. It is a studio concept that brings together four professional tattoo artists. Each of these artists primarily creates tattoos in their own unique style, allowing every client to choose the right artist for their tattoo.
