COMPETITION CATEGORIES
The theme/theme (except for the main categories), style and placement of the competition tattoo are free for each competitor, but it must fall into one of the categories.
Entire tattoos, including stencil placement, must be done exclusively at the Tattoo Festival premises. One competitive tattoo or even just a part of it can be entered ONLY IN ONE of the following categories:
1-day categories: Saturday
BLACK/BLACK & GREY
– a tattoo created using black paint, or black paint in combination with shading paints or shades of gray
– the tattoo can be any size, style, or technique used
– the use of white is permitted
– any size, style and technique
– the use of any other color is prohibited
– deadline/tattoo presentation by 6:00 PM
COLOR
– color tattoo that uses at least 5 different colors
– any size, style and technique
– deadline/tattoo presentation by 6:00 PM
CARTOON / ANIME
– this includes cartoon/anime, cartoon characters, game characters, creatures from fairy tales, etc.
– any colors and sizes
– deadline/tattoo presentation by 6:00 PM
OLD SCHOOL
– these include traditional tattoos, which are characterized by strong black outlines, a limited color palette, and iconic motifs.
– any size
– deadline/tattoo presentation by 6:00 PM
NEWIE (BEGINNERS)
– category intended exclusively for beginners, i.e. people who started tattooing in 2025 (if you tattooed in 2024 and do not belong to this category before); in case of violation of this condition, the award may be withdrawn additionally
– any color, size and style
– deadline/tattoo presentation by 6:00 PM
2-day categories: Saturday and Sunday
BLACK/BLACK & GREY 2days
Mandatory Skull theme
– The motif must include a skull
– a tattoo created using black paint, or black paint in combination with shading paints or shades of gray
– the tattoo can be any size, or any technique can be used
– the use of white is permitted
– any size, style and technique
– the use of any other color is prohibited
– deadline/tattoo presentation by 6:00 PM
COLOR 2days
Mandatory Skull theme
– The motif must include a skull
– color tattoo that uses at least 5 different colors
– the tattoo can be any size, or any technique can be used
– any size and style
– deadline/tattoo presentation by 6:00 PM
HORROR
– any style and any colors with a horror theme (from scary to violent and terrifying)
– any size, color, style and technique
– deadline/tattoo presentation by 6:00 PM
FREEHAND
– any style and any colors, the only condition is that the entire tattoo must be done exclusively on the premises of the Tattoo Festival, without using overprinting.

ALTERNATIVE
– any color, size, style and technique
– this category serves as a replacement for categories that are not published as competitive for this year, e.g. Mandala, Linework, Lettering, etc.
– does not serve as a category for undecided people, i.e. if your tattoo meets the conditions for, for example, Color, this category is not for you
– deadline/tattoo presentation by 6:00 PM
SMALL TATTOO
– any color, size, style and technique
– only small tattoos up to 6×6 cm,
– size configurations such as 7×5 cm, 8×4 cm, etc. are prohibited – size 6 cm must not be exceeded
– a tattoo artist who is also registered in another category on the first day of the tattoo festival can also apply for the SMALL category
– this category is primarily intended as a supplementary category, i.e. it is possible to apply for it in addition to the preferred category
– each tattoo artist can only enter this category with one tattoo
